Fred,            5 May 8PM

Thank so much for your reply.  As of yet I do not have the date or time for the funeral.

Cliff had not been feeling well, VA was running some tests..... Finally, late last week after multiple tests, he was diagnosed with Cancer -- not sure what kind.  Then last night everything started to shut down and he passed away about 10:30 PM.  I think he was at the VA hospital here in Riverside County.

Once I have any further info, I will send it to you.  Also, please find Val's address in case anyone would like to send her a note.

Again, thanks for replying to my email -- Sorry to send such sad news in an email, but I wanted to get the word out to everyone.

 Warmly

Gentlemen,            5 May 3PM

First of all Thank you all for your service to our Country!!  I found your names on http://www.cap-assoc.org/.  I am not sure who to send this email to.  Hopefully one of you will be able to help me out with this.

I am a friend of Cliff and Val Boone, here is Hemet, CA.

I was just informed this morning that he passed away last night at 10:30 PM.  I am not sure of all of the details yet, but I wanted to get the word out to his family and his friends.  Being prior service myself and married to a career soldier, I know that the military is our extended family and I know that Cliff's military family meant a lot to him as well.

Hopefully I am sending this message to the right people to forward this on.  I saw that he was posted on your site, so I thought that I would start with a few of you. If I am correct please reply so I may keep you in the loop as to when the funeral will be and where.  I will also be happy to forward on Val's mailing address and info for cards of support etc.

Again, thanks for your help in this matter.  Feel free to call me if that is more convenient.
Kindly
Michelle Hagen

I'll update info as I receive it.
